Director of Consulting, Practice Lead, London, £160k-£220k base dependant on experience, Consulting experience is needed, Snowflake, Databricks, GCP
We’re hiring a Data Director in London to lead growth, sales and client delivery across complex, high value data engagements. This is a senior leadership role for someone who enjoys owning client relationships end to end. You’ll be responsible for originating and shaping new work, expanding existing accounts, and acting as the senior engagement lead on large scale data and cloud programmes.
You’ll spend a significant amount of time in front of clients. That means leading sales conversations, scoping and pricing work, building compelling propositions, and maintaining trusted relationships at executive level. You’ll also stay closely involved once work is live, ensuring delivery quality, commercial performance and clear value realisation for the client.
On the delivery side, you’ll oversee multi-disciplinary teams delivering modern data platforms, cloud solutions and data strategy. You’ll provide senior oversight, steer direction, manage risk and economics, and act as the escalation point for senior stakeholders. This is not a hands-on engineering role, but you do need the credibility and experience to challenge teams and advise clients with confidence.
You’ll also play a key role in growing the practice in London, helping shape the go to market strategy, developing offerings, mentoring senior consultants and contributing to the overall commercial growth of the business.
This role suits someone coming from consulting or professional services who has a strong track record in selling and delivering complex data programmes, ideally within PE-backed or fast growth environments.
