Skills and Competencies
  • Proven track record of building and scaling distributed, global engineering teams, with hands‑on experience building and maintaining production‑grade systems
  • Proficient with agile methodologies and modern software delivery best practices
  • Deep technical expertise in modern software development practices and architectures; including cloud‑native architecture, microservices, and secure software design
  • Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with modern web technologies and languages is essential: React/Angular/.Net Core/Java/Python; experience with Rust is a plus
  • Ability to balance strategic oversight with architectural decision‑making and hands‑on team support when required
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands‑on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Proven ability to implement AI‑powered solutions to solve business challenges.
  • Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.
Education
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Responsibilities
  • Build, scale, and manage multiple high‑performing software engineering teams across global locations and time zones
  • Attract, guide, and nurture exceptional engineering talent while fostering diverse, inclusive, and high‑performing teams
  • Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Drive team engagement, retention, and satisfaction
  • Apply AI‑powered development tools to streamline coding, testing, and documentation workflows
  • Actively contribute to and drive engineering strategy, architecture reviews, and technical design sessions ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable software
  • Collaboratively define and enforce engineering standards, best practices, and architectural principles across teams
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical workshops and pair programming when required
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high‑quality software through robust development processes and quality gates
  • Establish measurable KPIs for technical performance, code quality, and delivery velocity
  • Drive technical roadmap planning and prioritization in collaboration with product and business stakeholders
  • Represent engineering in leadership forums and contribute to long‑term planning and technical vision
