Role Responsibilities
  • Own the on‑site Search & Browse experience, using product sequencing and recommendations to improve discoverability and engagement.
  • Lead the development and implementation of product ranking A/B tests, aligned with KPIs such as revenue, margin, add‑to‑cart rate, conversion rate, revenue per visit, and average order value.
  • Manage and optimise web hierarchy, filters, and navigation, collaborating with UX, SEO, buying and trading teams.
  • Drive product data enrichment, ensuring high‑quality, complete data that supports site performance and experience.
  • Identify personalisation opportunities to improve user journeys through relevant product recommendations and search results.
  • Use analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, BloomReach Insights, Power BI) to extract actionable insights that inform merchandising decisions.
  • Continuously improve processes and workflows within BloomReach (Search & Merch, Recommendations, Pathways).
  • Represent the Online Merchandising team in cross‑functional meetings and initiatives across trading, SEO, merchandising, and paid media.
  • Report on performance and insights, sharing clear action plans and outcomes with stakeholders across the business.
  • Line manage, train, and develop the Online Merchandising Assistants, supporting both day‑to‑day operations and long‑term career progression.
  • Support general merchandising admin such as link building, attribute creation, sitewalking and reporting.

Ways of Working

We offer hybrid working which varies across the business depending on the role you're in. Our Head Office is located in the Northern Quarter in Manchester City Centre. We don't have strict working hours; there is some flexibility around start and finish times as long as you meet the needs of the business. Our full‑time working hours are 36.17 per week over five days.
