A major government organization in the UK is seeking a Programme Support Officer responsible for collating management reports, overseeing budget monitoring, and supporting procurement processes. The role requires attendance at the office location twice a week for collaboration and meetings. Candidates with experience in management reporting and procurement are encouraged to apply.
Main Responsibilities
Estates deliver several disposal programmes, which are managed by the two Acquisitions & Disposals (A&D) teams. This team works closely with other internal and external stakeholder’s areas to ensure the effective management acquisition and disposal of Defence real estate. The role can be based within any of the locations stated. The successful candidate will need to attend their chosen office location on at least 2 days a week to effectively carry out the responsibilities of the role, for face-to-face meetings and collaboration and to meet the business requirements of the role
Other DIO locations may be considered whilst ensuring the location of the successful candidate can still meet the business and travel requirements of the role.

If travelling outside your base location for duty reasons, you will have access to flights, hire cars, rail tickets and overnight accommodation. You can also claim 45 pence per mile should you choose to use your own vehicle for business travel.
