Overview
Digital Learning Lead required for 35 hours per week, homebased in Northwest England. Driver required due to travel between locations.
Role involves designing, implementing, and managing digital learning initiatives across the organisation. A strategic thinker with a passion for leveraging technology to enhance learning experiences, develop performance and drive digital success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital learning strategies: Create and execute a comprehensive digital learning strategy and policy that aligns with the organisation’s goals.
- Design and develop e-learning content: Create engaging modules, videos and other digital learning materials using instructional design principles.
- Manage Learning Management System (LMS): Oversee administration and maintenance to meet organisational needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Identify learning needs with subject matter experts and present digital learning analytics to inform improvements.
- Lead digital learning initiatives: Promote digital learning opportunities using guides and training resources.
- Monitor and manage compliance: Maintain induction, mandatory, business-as-usual and recertification training records.
- Collaborate on the Learning Hub: Support improvements to the Learning Hub using multimedia content.
- Evaluate and improve digital learning: Assess effectiveness via feedback, analytics and performance metrics and implement improvements.
- Stay current with industry trends: Keep up-to-date with research, technologies, trends and best practices in digital learning.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Specialist knowledge of digital/eLearning platforms.
- Methodical approach to creating engaging digital and eLearning content.
- Storyboard design and development of interactive eLearning and microlearning using multimedia.
- Strong planning and prioritisation with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle complex information and provide clear end-user content.
- Excellent written and oral communication for data insights, reports and presentations.
- Ability to simplify complex technical scenarios for end users.
Experience
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders at different levels.
- Managing Learning Management Systems and evaluating potential software for microlearning.
- Proven experience delivering digital adoption solutions and analysing digital learning metrics.
- Experience translating complex concepts into easy-to-understand language for end users.
- Experience working in a high-performing team.
Qualifications and Training
- Degree in Education, Computer Science, Instructional Design, Learning Technologies or related field; or equivalent professional knowledge.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 and related applications.
