About CIP Terra Technologies

CIP Terra Technologies is a project delivery company working for CIP. The company delivers projects from onshore wind, solar PV, battery energy storage systems to data centres, bioenergy, thermal and transmission infrastructure. It is part of the optimized CIP Platform, consisting of three platform companies that provide services to CIP.

Role Overview

Associate, Data Centres – responsible for business development and end‑to‑end project delivery of data centres and associated infrastructure for CIP. The role requires managing own projects while supporting wider team activities such as reporting and decision‑making. Competitive salary and package (depending on level of experience). Locations: London, Copenhagen or Frankfurt (London also requires occasional travel to Birmingham and willingness to travel across the UK on an ad hoc basis).

Responsibilities
  • Identifying and assessing data centre investment opportunities.
  • Project‑managing market entry processes by working across investment teams, legal, tax, finance, etc.
  • Preparing high‑quality supporting materials for investment decision‑making processes.
  • Monitoring and managing budgets, including maintaining high‑quality reporting data.
  • Creating and interrogating financial models.
Qualifications
  • Motivated individual holding a relevant degree and a minimum of 3‑5 years of full‑time work experience with real estate investment, data centre or energy project development.
  • Experience in financial modelling and an understanding of the drivers of a business case.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in creating high‑quality PowerPoint presentations.
  • A deep understanding of the challenges associated with infrastructure development, especially regarding data centres.
  • Proficient stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
