Qualifications

  • A fully qualified Diagnostic Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • A current and valid UK driving licence.
  • Confident handling electrical systems and mechanical complexities.

  • Carrying out servicing and repairs to a variety of vehicles.
  • Performing diagnostic testing to identify vehicle faults.
  • Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest standards.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Diagnostic Vehicle Technician / Mechanic within a well-respected family-run independent Main Dealer, located in Dover.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Duties:

  • Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
  • MOT Testing
  • Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
  • Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards
  • Communicating and assisting with the Preparation & Workshop teams.

Requirements:

  • A Fully Qualified Diagnostic Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Confident handling electrical systems and mechanical complexities.
  • Dedicated and committed approach.
  • Your job will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.

The salary of this role is up to £45,000 basic.

Hours of work in this Diagnostic Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30 – no weekends!
