A global business and technology partner is looking for a skilled DevSecOps Engineer with expertise in backend development and microservices. Experience of 6-10 years in IT is necessary, along with strong skills in Java, Spring Boot, DevOps, and MySQL. The position is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days office work a week.

Qualifications

• Overall, 6-10 years of IT experience is required.
• Strong experience with DevOps principles is necessary.
• Experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices is essential.
• Proficient in writing JUnit test cases.
• Good knowledge of MySQL database and AWS platform is important.
• Exposure to ITIL processes including incident, problem, and change management is beneficial.
• Familiarity with AGILE methodology is expected.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement DevOps and DevSecOps best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure and automated deployments.
• Write maintainable code and robust unit tests.
• Monitor and troubleshoot applications on AWS.

Your Role

Capgemini Financial Services is seeking a talented and experienced DevSecOps Engineer with strong Microservices and Backend Development expertise. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Java, Spring Boot, cloud platforms, and DevOps principles, along with a solid understanding of secure software delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Implement and promote DevOps and DevSecOps best practices across the development lifecycle.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines ensuring secure and automated deployments.
• Write high‑quality, maintainable code along with robust JUnit test cases.
• Work on MySQL databases, ensuring efficient data design and performance optimization.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications on the AWS cloud platform.
• Participate actively in AGILE/Scrum ceremonies and ensure timely delivery of tasks.
• Follow ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and high‑performing systems.

Your Profile

• Overall, 6-10 Years of IT experience
• Strong experience with Dev‑Ops principles
• Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
• Strong experience of writing JUnit test cases
• Good experience of MySQL database
• Good experience working with AWS platform
• Good exposure to ITIL processes which includes incident, problem, change management etc.
• Good experience using AGILE methodology
• Good to have experience in Redhat Decision Manager and DMN Rules
• Good to have experience in Spark, Tableau and Hadoop
