Job description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps Integrations team, where you will design and build user-centric tooling that empowers development teams worldwide. You will be responsible for architecting and developing complex integrations across our DevSecOps toolchain, embedding security and efficiency into every stage of the software delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and configure bare‑metal, virtualised, and cloud infrastructure for business applications.
  • Support development teams in onboarding to modern CI / CD pipelines.
  • Improve high availability, resilience, observability, maintainability and security of applications using industry‑standard and internal bank solutions.
  • Automate application releases, deployments, configuration and other aspects of the software development lifecycle.
  • Enable connectivity between components in distributed networks.
  • Assist with migration and upgrade of systems to newer infrastructure.
Qualifications
  • Strong Unix/Linux skills at a system‑administration level.
  • Solid understanding of computer networks with hands‑on troubleshooting experience.
  • Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
  • Ability to debug complex system and network issues in Linux.
  • Experience with CI / CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity, Artifactory).
  • Some familiarity with Java build tools (Gradle / Maven preferred) and databases (Oracle / PostgreSQL preferred).
  • Understanding of distributed systems architecture, microservices and virtualization techniques.
  • A proactive, hands‑on approach to solving difficult technical challenges.
Desirable Skills (Great to have)
  • Basics of ITIL practices (change / incident management).
  • Experience with messaging middleware (Tibco, Solace, Kafka).
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python or Go.

Requirements
