Policing Districts in North – Basingstoke; Winchester; Aldershot; Andover. West – Southampton; Eastleigh; Lyndhurst. East – Portsmouth; Waterlooville; Fareham Reach. Isle of Wight – Newport.

Substantive Sergeant with PIP2 qualification.

Salary & Allowance

£53,568 – £56,208 per annum plus a South East Allowance payment of £2,000 per annum.

Intake Dates

April and June 2026.

Requirements
  • Serving police officer from a Home Office Force with no current performance or conduct concerns.
  • Successfully completed the two‑year probationary period and the Policing Diploma, or an equivalent qualification at the point of application.
  • Hold the appropriate qualifications for your rank.
  • PIP2 Qualification.
  • Satisfy all relevant eligibility criteria and pre‑employment checks including medical screening, vetting and a fitness test.
  • Be available to attend a 6‑day (dependent on your skills transfer) Hampshire and IOW Familiarisation course.
