Despatch Technician

0530-1400 - Monday to Friday

Salary: £29,049.40 per annum

Becketts Foods is a leading food processing company, operating in the CV2 area of Coventry since 1983. We are now recruiting additional colleagues to join our team and are proud to offer staff stability and a long-term future working for a thriving business.

Due to internal promotion Becketts Foods are recruiting a technician for our despatch department.

The role is working in a chilled environment; you will ensure accurate and efficient line performance through the team, with compliance to both food safety and Health & Safety.

Responsibilities to include:
  • Paperwork compliance
  • Meet KPI targets
  • Adhere to labour plan
  • Reporting of all issues/errors quickly and efficiently
  • Health and Safety compliance
  • Food safety compliance
  • Ensuring all stock is checked and accurately recorded upon arrival.
  • Ensuring all stock is stored safely and securely.
  • Ensuring all orders are picked, packed and despatched accurately and on time.
  • Monitoring and reporting on stock levels.
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure all orders are fulfilled correctly.
  • Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures.
Knowledge and Experience required:
  • Knowledge of a production line is essential
  • Food Safety Level 2 desirable
  • Experience of managing a small team

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday 0530-1400 (Some flexibility may be required)
