Location: West Midlands (Commutable from Dudley, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Stourbridge, Birmingham)

Overview

We're looking for a hands‑on Designer to create accurate and visually engaging retail and commercial fixtures. You'll take customer briefs and turn them into practical, manufacturable designs, supporting projects from concept through to installation.

SketchUp is the main design tool used in this role, experience with other design software (solidworks, adobe photoshop, autocad) is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce clear, accurate drawings and visuals using SketchUp
• Develop designs from customer briefs that are practical and fit for manufacture
• Select appropriate materials for cost, durability, and production
• Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients
• Support prototypes and resolve design or production issues
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Experience & Skills Required

• Experience in retail fixtures, shopfitting, or commercial interiors
• Strong SketchUp skills – essential
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar design tools is beneficial
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
• Well organised, detail-focused, and a confident communicator
• Willingness to support site or project visits when required
