Design Technology Technician
St Peter’s is looking for an enthusiastic part-time Design and Technology Technician to join our friendly team as soon as possible, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday during term time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain our workshops and equipment.
- Manage orders and prepare materials.
- Be present in lessons on staff request to support students’ practical work.

About the Design Technology Department
- We currently teach Textiles, Product Design, Food & Nutrition (which has its own dedicated technician) and Architecture.
- We have a wide range of up-to-date, well‑maintained equipment with six subject‑specific teaching rooms.

About You
- We're looking for a dynamic technician with knowledge of wood and metalworking machinery and techniques.
- Successful applicants will ideally have budgeting and basic IT skills.
- We particularly value individuals willing to embrace new technologies such as CNC equipment.
