A secondary school in Trowbridge is seeking a skilled DT technician to provide support in teaching Design Technology. This role involves preparing resources, maintaining machinery, and working collaboratively with staff and students. Clarendon Academy is looking for a skilled DT technician to provide support for teaching and learning in our Design Technology classrooms. This is a wonderful opportunity to join our dedicated team of technicians and be involved in preparing resources and equipment for lessons : hard materials : woods, metals and plastics, as well as maintaining machinery and ordering supplies. Previous experience of working in an educational environment is advantageous but not essential. A knowledge of basic engineering and / or mechanics would be useful, however full training will be given.
