Overview

Bennett & Game are excited to represent a growing architectural aluminium glazing specialist based in Nottingham, with over 40 staff and a recent turnover of over £14 million. The firm delivers high-spec aluminium curtain walling, window and door systems across the UK, and operates one of the most advanced aluminium manufacturing facilities in the country.

This Design Manager role will lead a team of 5 seasoned designers, ensuring that building envelope systems meet performance, aesthetic and buildability criteria. You will collaborate with architects, clients and fabrication teams to deliver robust design solutions within a forward-thinking, quality-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design coordination of façade and aluminium glazing systems
• Review architectural drawings and perform constructability assessments
• Liaise with architects, engineers and fabrication teams to refine design deliverables
• Oversee handover of design packages for manufacturing and site installation
• Mentor technical design staff and uphold best practice design processes

Qualifications
