About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Design Engineer (Process). The role will be based in Finham (Coventry). The Design Engineer will lead on all technical aspects of feasibility and design for a variety of water treatment projects, driving innovative, efficient, environment friendly.

You’ll work with a range of key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of solutions that meet the needs of the Customer, Key Stakeholders, and the regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate the ability for Design and Operational efficiency and continuous improvement and create innovative and efficient TOTEX solutions which resolve the business problem ensuring design standards and assurance processes are followed.
  • Agree design assessment and design completion milestones with Project Manager.
  • Undertake early pro-active risk management and ensuring risk registers are owned and maintained throughout the design feasibility and design process.
  • Ensure Health and Safety are built into the lifecycle of the design.
  • Understand and review potential delivery and operational risks e.g. H&S, environmental, commissioning.
  • Ensure the delivered solution is reviewed, benefit appraised, and learnings are captured and shared with appropriate design standard bodies.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING

You’ll have experience of implementing CDM regulations in design process. Having water industry background would be great but not essential. Working to standards, codes and practices would be advantageous.

The role will require excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of people. You will be a forward-thinking capable of anticipating challenges and responding to change in a rapidly evolving environment. A full UK driving licence will be required.
