Overview

A genuinely exciting Senior Design Engineer position has arisen with this well-established manufacturer and installer of bespoke mezzanine flooring, partitions and storage solutions. They are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer with knowledge of steel structures, building and or beams who can design bespoke mezzanine floor solutions to join their team.

Location

You will work from an office in Tonbridge Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm with one hour for lunch. This is a collaborative process so it is important you work from the office to be part of the team.

Salary

£40,000 to £50,000 as a basic salary, with an annual bonus, 20 days holiday initially (increasing year on year) and company pension.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the Sales team to produce detailed drawings using AutoCAD based on site surveys.


• Design bespoke mezzanine flooring, partitioning, racking and shelving solutions for clients and coordinate with Project Managers.


• Purchase materials for each project, working to deadlines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Design Engineer.


• Knowledge of steel structures, building and or beams.


• Confident in designing bespoke mezzanine floor systems and fully conversant with AutoCAD.
