About the Role:
Business Development is the key link between our clients’ market needs and our product teams. In this role you influence the direction of our services, plan future growth and execute new ideas.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of business plans and sales campaigns.
- Collaborate with clients on design and build out of new products and services.
- Conduct client and prospect outreach through meetings, seminars, conferences, speaking panels, roundtables and webinars.
- Produce thought leadership via industry publications and blog posts.
- Partner with sales on product commercialization, fees and licensing structures.
- Develop new marketing material and sales presentations.
- Respond to requests for proposals.
- Perform competitor analysis.
- Serve as an SME and point person for the allocated product, coaching sales peers on USPs and pre‑sales questions.
- Engage in sales conferences, special events, collateral production, client entertainment and association memberships to maximize sales revenue and client retention.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration/business management preferred.
- 5 years of experience in capital markets with knowledge of derivatives.
- Commercial awareness.
- Experience managing complex relationships to increase revenue streams year‑on‑year in line with the account plan.
- Ability to manage senior‑level meetings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for complex commercial and business discussions.
- Team player willing to progress in a rapidly changing environment.
