Overview

Wightwick Hall School is looking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and energetic person to provide efficient and effective caretaking support to ensure that the security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with the required standards. Our school is dedicated to providing a safe and stimulating environment to allow pupils to thrive. There is a warm friendly atmosphere at the school and you would be required to manage and maintain the school premises, to ensure that they are clean, secure, safe and well maintained.

Position

Grade 6 (SCP 9-15) Part time Deputy Site Supervisor Monday to Friday 12:00 – 18:00

Whole Year, 30 hours per week

Salary: FTE (£27,254 - £30,024) Actual (£22,098 - £24,478)

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the school is open and closed at the designated times and check that all is in order.
  • Responsible for ensuring and promoting the security, maintenance, caretaking, cleaning standards and general well-being of the school.
  • Monitor and record readings as appropriate for essential services, e.g. Gas, Oil, Water, Electricity.
  • To ensure heating plant and equipment is efficiently and effectively operated.
