CK Group are recruiting for an Deputy Operations Manager to join our waste management environmental and recycling client-based industry at their site near Sheffield. This role will play a key role in ensuring the health and safety of all staff contractors and visitors minimising environmental impact delivering excellent customer service and operating the site efficiently in line with budget expectations.

This vacancy is for a full-time position working 5 days per week.

Location

This role is located at our clients site near Sheffield.

Your main duties will be :

• Supporting and deputising for the Operations Manager
• Managing the operation and staff of multiple waste treatment facilities to ensure safety compliance and financial targets are met
• Leading and managing staff and contractors to operate safely and compliantly
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with regulators customers and suppliers
• Overseeing the reception inspection processing and dispatch of wastes and treated residues
• Liaising with technical staff for sampling assessment and monitoring of waste processing techniques

Your Background :

• A degree in chemistry or a related subject
• Experience in the process (chemical) or waste treatment industry
• Health and Safety qualification such as NEBOSH General Certificate
