Deputy Manager – Broadacres Residential Care Home

Greensleeves Care have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to work full time at Broadacres Residential Care Home in Norwich.

As a Deputy Manager, you will:

  • Ensure that high standards of care are delivered to meet the needs of the individual resident, monitoring and maintaining these standards;
  • Assist with the management of the Home's staffing, financial and material resources, including involvement in staff recruitment and selection;
  • Take responsibility for the running of the Home in the absence of the Home Manager;
  • Lead and facilitate staff and residents meetings, staff training and development activities.

To apply, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent;
  • Relevant experience of working and supervising staff within a care home;
  • Excellent knowledge of the CQC standards;
  • Working knowledge of legislation and the regulatory framework underpinning practice in relation to the care of older people;
  • Excellent communication and administration skills along with the ability to prioritise and cope with a busy and varied workload.
