Job description
Deputy Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join our team within the Boots Online Prescription Service Centre, where you will have the chance to make a real difference to our customers' and patients' lives. This Deputy Manager position is based in Leicester city centre and manages the operation of online prescription orders for patients nationally, delivered via postal service.

You will lead the operational running of the department and work in partnership with local stakeholders to enable delivery of an outstanding level of service to patients nationally. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering strong trading performance underpinned by an exceptional operational platform.

You will also inspire your teams to engage with new priorities across the business and interpret data, trends and insights to work at pace and react to the changing needs of the customer.

Essential skills and experience
  • Experience leading managers who lead teams
  • Experience leading teams and experience with dealing with HR issues
  • Clear understanding of how to translate strategy into effective execution that drives high performance
  • Understand, impact and deliver KPI's
  • Ability to operate at pace, adapting quickly to evolving business priorities

Desirable skills and experience
  • Completed a Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent)
