Deputy Manager

We are looking for an experience Deputy Manager to join our team to support the Nursery Manager in the smooth and efficient leadership of the nursery, deputising in their absence, and ensuring high standards of care, education, and compliance with EYFS and regulatory requirements.

Person Specification
  • Deputise for the Nursery Manager when required.
  • Contribute to the nursery development plan and support monitoring and evaluation of performance.
  • Promote diversity, equal opportunities, and safeguarding policies.
  • Assist in staff recruitment, induction, deployment, and appraisal processes.
  • Support staff development through training, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Help manage nursery budgets, equipment, and resources.
  • Ensure the nursery environment is attractive, safe, and stimulating.
