Qualifications

Deputy Manager – Bourne, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom

Full‑time, Permanent contract. Salary £14.50–£15.50 per hour (£30,392 – £32,488 per annum). Hours: 40 per week, all year round.

What You’ll Need

Essential:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Good time‑management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience of leading and managing a team
  • Full and relevant Early Years Level 3 Childcare Qualification or higher
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS guidelines

Desirable:

  • Previous experience of leading a team
  • Current paediatric first aid certificate
  • Safeguarding and child protection training (full training will be given)
  • Current food hygiene certificate
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Support the Manager, Third in Charge, and Room Leaders to ensure the highest standards of Early Years care and education across the setting
  • Maintain an organised, safe and stimulating nursery environment
  • Keep accurate records and ensure procedures are followed within the room
  • Help build and maintain a reputation as the setting of choice in the area for both children and employees
  • Model and monitor best practice in accordance with regulatory guidelines
  • Support and inspire your team of Room Leaders and Practitioners
  • Aid with the induction of new team members, welcoming them into the Kindred family

Our Recruitment Process
