A leading disability charity in Abingdon is seeking a Deputy Manager to oversee operations across two homes. The role involves supporting the Registered Manager in ensuring compliance with care standards and leading a team of support workers. Candidates should have experience in care settings, particularly in supporting individuals with learning disabilities. Deputy Manager (2 sites) – Make Every Day Matter! Abingdon and Didcot, Oxfordshire. Salary: £33,774 per annum (£17.32 per hour) plus benefits. Hours: 37.5 per week, permanent. Requires a manual UK driving licence. No visa sponsorship.
You will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure smooth day‑to‑day running of the services at Abingdon and Didcot. You will lead by example, supporting and supervising a team of support workers to deliver high‑quality, personalised care that promotes independence, dignity and choice.
Two homes in Abingdon and Didcot supporting a diverse group of individuals with autism, learning disabilities, complex needs and behaviour challenges. The team works together to provide individualised support and promote independence.
