We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Headteacher to join our fantastic team with key strategic and operational responsibilities linked to Curriculum, Teaching & Learning.
This is a permanent post on leadership terms, pay scale L9-L13, starting salary £63,070 per annum. There will be a regular teaching commitment of approximately 1.5 days per week.
We are seeking an inspirational and highly skilled Deputy Headteacher with a strong commitment to curriculum quality, teaching excellence and inclusive practice. Working closely with the Headteacher, you will play a key strategic role in shaping the educational direction while remaining firmly rooted in day‑to‑day teaching and learning. In the absence of the Headteacher, the Deputy Headteacher may be asked to take full responsibility for the leadership and management of the school.

Prospect House is a new free special primary school in Higher Blackley, North Manchester. The school is the first in the Trust to open north of the city, offering places for children with very significant learning needs and other associated additional needs, aged 3–11 years old. The brand‑new purpose‑built site offers specialist facilities including a state‑of‑the‑art hydro‑pool with changing room to pool hoisting, ASC‑friendly classrooms and corridors, Food Technology Room, Library, Immersive Learning Room, Sensory Regulation Room, Parent Room, therapy dogs and two KuneKune pigs.
