This role is responsible for supporting the General Manager with soft FM and catering outlets across two main sites and additional cleaning sites, ensuring the catering department is effectively staffed and maintains a competent workforce.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the catering department is effectively staffed, maintaining a competent workforce.
  • Manage the team to success and coordinate day‑to‑day activities.
  • Drive new initiatives and lead change management processes to continually improve services.
  • Contribute to strategic discussions as part of the senior site management team, sharing ideas and best practice.
  • Assist the General Manager with identifying and delivering improvements on service delivery, financial performance, people development, and team engagement.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations and ensure high‑quality service delivery with emphasis on standards and the patient experience.
  • Handle people management, including development and close management of any Employee Relations issues.
Qualifications
  • Seasoned hospitality professional with a defined background and volume catering experience.
  • People management experience.
  • Literate, numerate, and able to manage financials.
  • Military background a plus but not essential.
Additional Requirements
  • Security clearance required.
  • Full UK driving licence essential.
  • Must have lived in the UK for at least the last 3 years.
  • If currently employed at Aramark, must notify line manager before submitting an application.
