Job description

The Isle of Mull Hotel & Spa is looking for a Deputy General Manager to help lead the day to day running of this well known island hotel.

This is a full time role with a salary between £28,800 and £43,200 depending on experience.

You will support the General Manager across all Front of House operations and housekeeping.

You will lead the FOH team, keep service standards high, and make sure guests experience a warm and professional welcome from the moment they arrive.

You will manage staff rotas, timesheets and front desk reporting.

You will work closely with Duty Managers and Supervisors to keep operations running smoothly.
You will oversee invoicing, credit applications and PM account procedures.

You will liaise with Head Office and external credit companies when needed.

You will keep control of the sales ledger and carry out income audits to ensure accuracy.

You will support the wider team to maintain a well-run, welcoming hotel environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in a similar role or strong senior hospitality experience with the confidence to step up.

You should enjoy leading a team, be organised, calm under pressure, and focused on creating a positive experience for guests and staff.

The hotel sits in a spectacular coastal location near Craignure, with views across the Sound of Mull.
