36 hours per week, Term Time Only (40 weeks), plus INSET Days Monday to Thursday: 8.15am - 4.15pm & Friday: 8.15am - 4.00pm (Includes 45-minute unpaid break). We are excited to welcome a committed and compassionate professional to take on the vital role of Deputy Designated Safeguarding & Wellbeing Lead (DDSL). This is a highly rewarding position at the heart of our safeguarding provision, working closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), senior leaders, and wider staff team to ensure the wellbeing and protection of all students.

Responsibilities
  • Support the DSL in leading and managing all aspects of safeguarding across the school
  • Act as a point of contact for staff, students, and families regarding safeguarding concerns
  • Respond to, record, and elevate safeguarding issues in line with statutory guidance and school policy
  • Work with external agencies, including social care and health professionals, to ensure effective safeguarding practice
  • Help maintain accurate, confidential safeguarding records and ensure timely follow‑up
