Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Care Manager to join our growing team at our Newport, Shropshire office. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our company, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care and support for our clients in their own homes. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of care professionals, monitoring service quality, and maintaining compliance with regulations.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of care professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Conduct regular home visits to assess client needs and quality assurance checks.
  • Conduct client and care professional introductions.
  • Create care plans and coordinate services to meet individual client requirements.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor and evaluate our care professional’s performance, providing feedback and implementing improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, families, and clients to ensure effective care coordination.
  • Ensure that all services provided align with company policies and industry standards.
  • Address and resolve client and care professional concerns in a timely and compassionate manner.
  • This role will involve an element of on call duties.
  • Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the business.
Qualifications
  • Experience of delivering & managing care support services in a similar setting.
  • Holds or be willing to work towards a NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Experience of delivering and managing care support services.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of CQC or relevant Health and social care regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexible to meet the needs of the business.
  • Compassion and empathy for our clients and their families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • The role requires you to have access to your own vehicle and hold a valid driving licence.
