As Depot Foreman, you will act as the key link between the office and the engineering team, supporting the Depot Manager with all aspects of day-to-day depot operations whilst also being hands on. This role would suit an individual who is either already an experienced supervisor / team leader / foreman or an experienced engineer looking to step into a managerial role. You will need knowledge of generators, have strong commercial awareness and communication skills.

The Role :

• Manage engineers' workload on a daily basis, allocate weekly service runs to engineers, liaise directly with customers, dealing with suppliers as and when necessary as well as hands on service and maintenance of generators
• 39 hours per week. Estimated on average 50hrs with overtime
• Overtime : paid weekdays between 6 : 00am to 8 : 00am, then 16 : 30pm to 00 : 00pm / paid between 00 : 00 to 6 : 00am & weekends
• Depot based with occasional field based work when required (1 in 4 weeks on call rota - earning a guaranteed minimum of 4 hours pay per on-call day)

The Person :

NVQ in plant maintenance / equivalent in Mechanical Engineering

Supervisor / Team Leader / Foreman experience would be advantageous

Experience working on generators

Good communication skills
