Job summary

A leading dental training provider is seeking a part-time Dental Workplace Assessor in Liverpool. You will be responsible for conducting workplace assessments for Diploma in Dental Nursing learners, providing feedback, and ensuring compliance with health & safety standards. Ideal candidates are qualified Dental Nurses with at least 2 years of experience and effective planning and communication skills. This role offers a chance to develop skills further while training the dental experts of tomorrow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Dental Nurse.
• DBS Check required.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Desirable: Experience of assessing the Dental Diploma/Advance Apprenticeship.
• Desirable: Experience in work-based learning programmes.

Responsibilities

• Book and carry out workplace assessments.

As a Dental Workplace Assessor

• To book and carry out workplace assessments of Diploma in Dental Nursing learners within the required time period
• Communicate effectively with practice managers and learners
• Ensure the correct completion and submission of all assessment paperwork
• Provide constructive feedback to the learner and practice manager in a sensitive manner
• Prepare and support a small caseload of learners for EPA
• Conduct health & safety and equal opportunities vetting and monitoring of practice and provide guidance where necessary
• Plan and prepare for each workplace assessment
• Remain current in your skills and knowledge of the dental sector and legislative requirements and G registration
