Location and hours

Based at 19 Hills Well being Centre, Ringland, although you will be working in various areas of Gwent. There are two part-time posts of 22.5 hours per week each; a full-time post may be available.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Community Dentist, Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist with all dental treatment.
  • Support people with special care needs at clinics, centres, hospitals, residential homes, patient homes and mobile dental units throughout Gwent.
  • Provide a range of clinical and administrative tasks (manual and computer) in an efficient and effective manner to deliver appropriate health care for the patients of the Community Dental Service (CDS) within ABUHB.
  • Travel between sites in a timely manner to meet the requirements of the post.
Qualifications and requirements
  • Appropriate experience and relevant registration is essential.
  • The ability to travel between sites to meet the needs of the post.
  • The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
