Dental Engineer – Field Based

£30,000–£40,000 (DOE) | Permanent | 37.5 hrs / week | Sheffield or Bristol Areas

We are looking for an experienced Dental Engineer to join a friendly, highly skilled engineering team. This is a field-based role, offering variety, independence, and the support of an experienced team.

About the Role

As a Dental Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, servicing, and commissioning of dental equipment.

Key responsibilities
  • Servicing, commissioning, and repairing dental equipment
  • Recording service notes and ordering parts through an Asset Management System
  • Managing your own test equipment and inventories
  • Completing personal risk assessments and following safety procedures
  • Working closely with colleagues and your Senior Engineering Manager (SEM)
  • Receiving ongoing technical training through a dedicated Training Academy
About You
  • Experience in Dental Engineering
  • Strong background working with air lines, water systems, and electrics
  • Technical knowledge of dental equipment (able to provide quotations)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
  • Good planning, time-management, and organisational abilities
  • IT literacy, including Microsoft Office
