Dental Core Trainee Year 1/ LAT in Paediatric Dentistry

A vacancy has arisen for a Dental Core Training Year 1/ LAT post within Paediatric Dentistry at the University Dental Hospital. This fixed-term post will commence on 4th March 2026 until 1st September 2026.

Main duties of the job

This post provides the opportunity to gain a wide range of experience within the Paediatric Dentistry clinic. This will include treatment planning and managing paediatric patients utilising inhalation sedation where necessary.

The post provides the opportunity to gain experience in acute dental practice.

Qualifications
  • BDS or Equivalent
  • Full GDC certificate or eligible for full registration with the GDC at intended start date
Experience
  • Applicants must have evidence of at least 12 months whole time equivalent (WTE) postgraduate clinical experience to the scope of a dentist by time of post commencement
  • Be able to provide complete details of their employment history
  • Have evidence that their present level of achievement and performance is commensurate with the totality of their period of training.
