Job summary:

The Demi Chef de Partie prepares dishes, in conjunction with the other Pastry Chefs that are delicious, sweet treats for the hotel. Working as part of a pastry team, the roleis responsible for ensuring that standards are maintained within the section. It is a vital part of the position to keep food quality for both guests and staff to the best standard possible.

We are looking for a chef who is passionate about food and will work well within a dynamic and fast paced kitchen, handling the preparation and order of service within the Pastry Kitchen. You will need a high standard of food knowledge and skill with an eagerness to deliver delicious food using fresh ingredients.

Qualifications

• Current Foodsafe Certificate
• High standard of food knowledge
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, organisational and communication skills
• Experience of managing, developing and leading a team
• Ordering and stock control
• Minimum 1 years' experiencein a similar position, preferablywithin a hotelenvironment
