Job Description

Principle Activities:

  • Establish and validate the sales requirement (orders + forecasts) for all programmes for OE, LRU Spares and MRO.
  • Model the sales forecasts and support the annual MTP exercise.
  • Analyse sales trends and identify key short to medium term drivers.
  • Analysis variance to determine & implement corrective actions.
  • Compilation and publication of visual metrics, presentations and reports.
  • Lead the monthly Demand Review and Validation meetings and support the S&OP manager.
  • Report, resolve and escalate as needed.
  • Maintain ERP Demand Stability and Forecast accuracy.
  • Implement any agreed changes into the plan which is delivered to the supply planners on a timely basis.
Job Requirements

Candidate skills & requirements:

  • Good knowledge and understanding of the MRP2 principles.
  • Good technical knowledge of the markets of Safran Group products.
  • Knowledge of indicator management dashboards, data management.
  • Strong commercial awareness with clear understanding of the financial impact of forecasting and related decisions.
  • Good knowledge of Information and management systems: SAP ERP, Supplier, Customer & Internal Portals, etc.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels, both verbal and written.
  • Capacity to anticipate situations, reactivity, availability.
  • High level of accuracy/detail oriented. Know how to analyse a problem, summarise it and recommend solutions and challenge appropriately.
  • Strong statistical and analytical skills. Be able to analyse and present the data from various information systems.
  • To the point, communicative, proactive, autonomous, dependable, persevering and goal orientated.
  • Strong presentation and organisational skills.
  • Team player but also has strong people management skills.
  • Excellent working relationship with customers, customer service, programs, BD and SLT.
  • Qualified to degree level with relevant business qualification in the supply chain field.
