Delivery And Compliance Manager needed in Stoke-on-Trent

This is a temporary contract paying £387.96 per day PAYE.

This is a temporary role.

The successful candidate will manage the client function to ensure maximum value for money through effective operational delivery. They will lead and direct a team responsible for auditing and validating contractor performance, driving continuous improvement, and overseeing modernisation and investment programmes. With a strong focus on customer service, they will ensure tenants receive a high-quality, responsive repair, maintenance, and improvement service, including delivery of climate change initiatives.

They will take accountability for statutory compliance functions such as gas servicing, fire safety, and asbestos management, while ensuring procurement methods achieve optimum outcomes within time and budget. In addition, they will motivate and manage staff delivering programmes in compliance, improvement, modernisation, and carbon reduction, and oversee contract performance.

The role also requires leadership in delivering major programmes of work, balancing budgetary constraints, and conducting option appraisals to ensure housing stock remains fit for purpose before committing significant financial resources.
