Role Overview

We are appointing experienced Domestic Energy Assessors (DEA) with stock condition surveying experience to support a long-term residential surveying programme across Newcastle and the surrounding areas.

The role involves completing EPCs and stock condition surveys across a mixed residential portfolio, with surveyors paid per completed survey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete Domestic Energy Assessments (EPCs)
  • Carry out residential stock condition surveys
  • Assess building fabric, components, and services
  • Identify defects and lifecycle condition
  • Capture survey data digitally using handheld devices
  • Take supporting photographic evidence
  • Work to agreed daily productivity targets
  • Follow safeguarding and access procedures
  • Ensure all surveys meet audit and quality standards
Requirements
  • Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA)
  • Experience completing stock condition surveys
  • Good understanding of residential construction
  • Confident using digital survey software
