Job summary

A leading manufacturer in the UK is seeking a Logistics Manager to plan and oversee transport operations. This role requires over 10 years of experience in Warehouse/Transport Management, preferably in an FMCG environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, knowledge of transport industry standards, and experience with WMS/SAP systems. The position aims to ensure efficient operations while adhering to budget targets, health and safety policies, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' Warehouse/Transport Management experience.
• Experience in an FMCG environment.

Responsibilities

• Organise and monitor transport requirements.
• Manage customer orders from receipt to delivery.
• Plan stock accuracy in conjunction with the stock controller.
• Monitor DC costs with the Company Accountant.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies.
