Velox Education is working with several nurseries in the Slough area who are seeking dedicated Daycare Nursery Assistants with a genuine passion for the EYFS. Are you passionate about supporting children in Nursery and Reception? Do you enjoy helping children with additional needs in the Early Years? If so, look no further than our Early Years Nursery Assistant role!

Responsibilities
  • Providing 1:1 support or working with small groups of children
  • Assisting the class teacher and supporting the whole class
  • Building positive relationships with parents and carers
  • Supervising children during activities, playtime, and lunch breaks
  • Promoting positive behaviour and acting as a role model
  • Motivating and encouraging children to reach their full potential
Qualifications
  • A positive, caring, and energetic attitude
  • EYFS Level 2 or 3 qualification or higher (essential for all nurseries)
  • Genuine enthusiasm for Early Years learning and development
  • Ability to monitor and record children's progress
  • Understanding of safeguarding practices
