Job Description

The Data Protection / Privacy Advisor be part of the wider legal team and report directly into the Privacy Manager. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building and maintaining the privacy framework and will:

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of data protection policies and procedures.
  • Advise on legal requirements related to data privacy and protection within the life science industry.
  • Conduct data protection impact assessments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Assist in responding to data subject access requests in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of processing activities and ensure documentation is up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data protection measures are embedded across the organisation.
  • Provide training and guidance on data protection best practices to staff as needed.
  • Monitor legislative changes affecting data protection and advise on necessary adjustments.

The Successful Applicant

A Data Protection / Privacy Advisor should have:
