Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data & Analytics project management.
• Experience with financial data or corporate reporting is advantageous.
• Strong leadership in managing senior stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of Data & Analytics projects across multiple workstreams.
• Establish and manage project plans, milestones, risks, and reporting.
• Work closely with technical teams for data engineering and reporting delivery.
• Drive governance processes ensuring effective management of decisions and risks.

Data & Analytics Project Manager

Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Hybrid (HO in Stevenage)
Day Rate: £600 Inside IR35
Start Date: ASAP

We’re looking for an experienced Data & Analytics Project Manager to lead and deliver a range of data-driven initiatives across the organisation. You will oversee end-to-end delivery of projects such as reporting and analytics, ETL pipelines, data warehousing, and MDM, working closely with technical teams and senior stakeholders. If you have a strong background managing complex Data & Analytics programmes and enjoy bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to data environments, this is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in shaping our data landscape.

Key Experience Needed

• Extensive experience delivering Data & Analytics projects
• Strong understanding of ETL, data warehousing, reporting, and MDM
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data & Analytics (Fabric experience is a bonus)
• Proven ability to manage complex and senior stakeholder relationships
• Skilled in project governance, risk / issue management, and escalation processes
• Comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects in fast-moving environments
• Experience with financial data or corporate reporting is advantageous
• Project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, AgilePM) beneficial

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of end-to-end Data & Analytics projects across multiple workstreams
• Establish and manage project plans, milestones, risks, issues, and reporting
• Work closely with technical teams to support data engineering, reporting, and analytics delivery
• Oversee projects involving ETL, data warehousing, and MDM capabilities
• Partner with senior stakeholders to ensure delivery aligns with business goals and expectations
• Facilitate workshops, presentations, and clear communication across technical and non-technical teams
• Drive governance processes, ensuring decisions, risks, and dependencies are managed effectively
• Support the organisation’s data strategy by ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery outcomes
