Job description

Mondrian Alpha is working exclusively with a global Private Equity firm, helping them hire a junior–mid level Associate to work across technical data projects to support across Investment, Finance, Ops and IR.

This is a newly created, highly analytical role supporting a Portfolio Data & Analytics Lead, to combine deep data expertise with strong commercial understanding of the alternatives space. Day to day, you will collaborate with global teams, answering analytical queries, resolving data issues, and helping shape the tools and infrastructure used in portfolio attribution, post-deal analysis, IR reporting and investment decision support.

They are looking for someone with strong academics and around 2-3 years experience in a analytical environment (financial services experience desirable). You should be comfortable working with financial models and large datasets, and familiar with tools like Excel, Power BI and coding (PowerQuery, SQL / Python). Good communication skills and strong attention to detail are important, as you’ll be working with people across the business.

The firm are in the top quartile for pay within the market and will offer up to £70k plus excellent bonus and benefits (including subsidized canteen, gym, dental etc). They operate a hybrid model and have 4 days a week in the office.
