Overview

Job Title: Education Data & Information Officer - Business Support Administrator

Reference: N Northamptonshire RQ1578768

Pay rate: £13.93 to £14.60 per hour PAYE, DOE

Contract Type: Temporary, anticipated 3 months with potential to extend for the right candidate

Location: Onsite full time - Kettering, Northamptonshire, NN16 0SW

DBS: A Basic DBS is required for this role.

Role and responsibilities
  • On behalf of a local council, support the Educational Inclusion and Partnerships Team as an Education Data & Information Officer / Business Support Administrator.
  • Support Management with the production, manipulation and maintenance of data using a variety of IT systems.
  • Support processes, systems and procedures associated with the service area.
  • Interact with colleagues, supervisors, managers, other service areas and the public.
  • Schedule and coordinate own work, taking responsibility for completing tasks within internal, external, and statutory timescales.
  • Provide statistical information and participate in delegated project work; some individual judgement will be required.
  • Undertake additional tasks to support the Business Support Manager in line with the role and functions of the post.
What the client is looking for
  • Previous admin experience, ideally in a local authority.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge; an Excel test will be part of the interview process.
  • Ideally previous experience and knowledge of SEN and Educational Inclusion.
  • Previous project support experience is desirable.
  • Basic DBS is required for this role.
