A leading technology retailer is seeking a Senior Data Governance, Privacy & Operations Manager to oversee data governance agendas and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. The role involves leading initiatives that promote data as an asset, managing a team, and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience with privacy regulations and tools such as One Trust. This position includes hybrid working in the City of London.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience determining options for handling personal data.
• Experience with third-party stakeholders, including partners and vendors.
• Ability to independently assess legal, practical and business risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead data governance agenda and initiatives.
• Conduct comprehensive data protection risk assessments.
• Oversee policy management and configuration of data governance tools.

Skills

Extensive experience of privacy regulations - EU GDPR, PECR, DPA 2018

5+ years of experience analysing, assessing and advising on risk

Experience with Privacy tools, preferably One Trust
