We are Metyis. Partners for Impact.

What we offer
  • Interact with senior stakeholders at our clients regularly to drive impactful business change.

  • Work with Data Scientists to manage data throughout its lifecycle — acquisition, exploration, cleaning, integration, analysis, interpretation, and visualization.

  • Become part of a fast-growing, international, and diverse team.

What you will do
  • Engineer technical solutions to solve concrete business challenges across various domains.

  • Gather functional and non-functional requirements, considering technical environments, business constraints, and organizational needs.

  • Support clients in executing their Big Data strategies by designing and building operational data platforms: ETL pipelines, data anonymization pipelines, data lakes, near real-time streaming data hubs, web services, and machine learning models for training and scoring.

  • Collaborate closely with partners, strategy consultants, and data scientists in an agile environment that values personal initiative.

  • Share knowledge by providing technical training on data engineering topics.

  • Guide and mentor team members.

What you will bring
  • 3-4 years of experience in data engineering.

  • Understanding of data warehousing principles, concepts, and best practices (e.g., ODS, data marts, data lakes, data vault, 3NF).

  • Advanced SQL skills, including data transformation and profiling.

  • Experience building scalable production ETL/ELT pipelines.

  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Azure services such as Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse (DWH), Azure Functions, and other data analytics tools, including streaming.

  • Experience with Airflow and Kubernetes.

  • Programming skills in Python (PySpark) and scripting languages like Bash.

  • Knowledge of Git, CI/CD operations, and Docker.

  • Basic PowerBI knowledge is a plus.

  • Experience deploying cloud infrastructure is desirable.

  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code is beneficial.

  • Strong engineering craftsmanship mindset.

  • Passion for continuous improvement and collaboration.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate designs and ideas effectively.

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical discipline; a Master's Degree is a plus.
