Job description

We are looking for a data‑focused analyst to build reliable pipelines, enhance data quality, and deliver actionable insights that drive better gameplay and business decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in setting up and optimizing data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to collect, process, and analyze data from diverse sources, including in‑game telemetry, sales, marketing, and social media platforms.
  • Contribute to the development of data models and help ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability to support effective decision‑making by game analysts and business stakeholders.
  • Design and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide actionable insights across teams.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis across game systems to identify trends and potential friction points in player engagement, helping to inform design and product decisions.
  • Work closely with gameplay developers and production stakeholders to ensure in‑game tracking plans align with analytical and operational needs.
Qualifications
  • Familiar with Databricks for building and managing scalable data pipelines and analytics workflows.
  • Skilled in using Tableau Desktop to create clear, insightful dashboards and visual reports for stakeholders.
  • Strong command of SQL, with hands‑on experience querying large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights.
  • Familiar with AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including working with BigQuery and Redshift as data sources.
  • A strong interest or passion for gaming, with a good understanding of player behaviour and game mechanics.
  • Highly self‑motivated with excellent organizational and communication skills – both verbal and written.
