Job summary

A global technology leader is seeking a Power & Cooling Engineer to join their EMEA team, focusing on the growing AI datacentre business. This remote role requires expertise in data centre power delivery and cooling architectures, where you'll assist in designing complex IT solutions. You will also provide engineering guidance across various disciplines and be involved in the physical installation of systems. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of air and water-cooled solutions and RFP requirements.

Power & Cooling Engineer, Datacentre / HPC

UK Remote

Our client is a global technology leader that designs, develops, and manufactures IT hardware and software. Last year they posted revenue at nearly $70 billion!

This is to work as part of an EMEA Power and cooling team but focusing on the fast growing AI ready datacentre business. .

You will have an understanding of data centre and IT solution power delivery architectures; cooling architectures and heat transfer.

You can be based anywhere in the UK but must be open to a degree of international travel.

Main elements to get involved with:

• Decipher complex RFP requirements related to facility power and cooling infrastructure and help IT architects design an IT solution that fits within those limitations.
• Architect complex power and cooling solutions for air and water-cooled IT solutions.
• Be actively involved in the physical installation of complex IT system that are air or water-cooled.
• Be able to provide engineering guidance over a wide range of disciplines (power/electrical, mechanical, thermal, plumbing, controls).
