A leading recruitment agency in Wembley is seeking a skilled Data Architect to design and implement data solutions for Finance or HR processes in Workday. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience, strong knowledge of Workday's architecture, and familiarity with relevant data management tools and concepts. This role offers a competitive £600 per day and a hybrid working model.
Data Architect-£600PD-Hybrid
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect with a strong background in Finance or Human Resources and hands-on experience with Workday. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise data architecture strategies to support key business functions across Finance or HR systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Workday's data model, integration capabilities, and reporting architecture, with a focus on data governance, quality, and scalability.
Design and implement scalable and secure data architectures to support Finance or HR processes in Workday.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective Workday data solutions.
Develop data models, data flow diagrams, and data dictionaries aligned with Workday\'s architecture.
Lead Workday data integration efforts with internal and external systems (e.g., ERP, payroll providers, BI tools).
Optimize Workday reporting and analytics through Prism Analytics, Workday Report Writer, or other tools.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance across systems through governance frameworks and audits.
Support Workday implementations, upgrades, and new module deployments with data migration, mapping, and transformation strategies.
Act as a subject matter expert on Workday\'s data capabilities including calculated fields, EIB, Studio, and Core Connectors.
Provide guidance on master data management (MDM), data security, and access controls within Workday.
Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, HR, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or similar roles.
Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Workday (Finance or HCM).
Strong knowledge of Workday\'s data architecture, reporting tools, and integration frameworks.
Experience with Workday Prism, EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and Report Writer.
Familiarity with Finance modules (e.g., Financial Accounting, Procurement, Expenses) or HR modules (e.g., Core HCM, Talent, Compensation).
Proficiency in SQL, ETL tools, data warehousing, and BI/reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and security best practices.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Workday certification(s) in HCM, Finance, Reporting, or Integrations.
Experience with enterprise data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica).
Prior experience in large-scale Workday implementations or transformation programs.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
